Using Google Trends, Estately has looked back at 2016 in Google searches to determine what each state googled more often than any other state during this "absolute garbage year." The results left the blog with one thought: "Let's hope 2017 offers much better things to occupy our internet searches." Estately lists a number of uniquely popular searches for each state; here's a sampling:
